该模块能将车底扫描系统升级为监控扫描双模式车底检查系统，能更有效的防止车底藏匿炸弹、武器、生化危险品、危险人物出入政府机关、军事管理、银行库区、车站码头等重要安全保护场所；

防止车底携带毒品与枪支弹药等危险品、非法走私物乃至可疑人物通过海关、边防检查站，

防止被关押人员潜逃出监狱、看守所、戒毒所等；

同时可对列车、汽车等车辆底盘进行交通安全检测及车况质量检查评估等应用。
